Lateral unicompartmental knee arthroplasty: a review of literature

Isolated lateral knee osteoarthritis accounts for the 5% to 10% of patients suffering from unicompartmental knee arthritis. Unicompartmental knee replacement is one of the surgical option for this population. In this paper we analyze the indications, surgical aspects and promising results of this kind of surgery according to Literature.
