Jun Lu, MD, Phd (Adult Trauma and Joint Surgery)

Dr. Lu received his Bachelor and Master of Medicine from the Medical School of Nanjing University in 2001, then got the M.D. and Phd degree in the Medical School of Southeast University in 2009. After completing residency and clinical training in the Jinling Hospital, Dr Lu joined the faculty at Southeast University affiliated Zhongda Hospital in 2001 and currently is an associated chief physician in the Department of Orthopaedics (Adult Trauma and Joint Surgery). In his working field, Dr Lu finished the hip and knee joint arthroplasty training in several clinical medicine centers such as Queen Mary Hospital of Hongkong University and Endo Clinic Hospital in Germany.

The clinical interests of Dr Lu are joint arthroplasty and arthroscopic surgery. Beyond that he also managed a quite number of trauma cases every year. As an active member in the local Orthopaedics Community, Dr Lu also engaged in besic scientific research in muscular skeletal system such as biological strategies for tendon-to-bone healing and pathological mechanism of osteoarthritis.
