ZeYu Huang, MD, PhD (Orthopaedic Surgery)

ZeYu Huang received his M.D. degree in 2010 from the West China Medical School, Sichuan University, Chengdu, People’s Republic of China. He completed training as an orthopaedic surgeon in 2014 in the West China Hospital, Sichuan University. From August 2014 to February 2016, he worked as a visiting scholar in the research laboratory of Dr. Virginia Kraus at Duke University, North Carolina, USA, focusing on the metabolic syndrome, inflammation and osteoarthritis pathogenesis and biomarkers. In 2016, he received his PhD. degree supervised by Dr. FuXing Pei from the Department of Orthopedics of the West China Hospital. His research interests mainly focus on the clinical treatment and pathogenesis of osteoarthritis.
