Dr. Rocco Papalia is assistant professor of Orthopedic and Trauma Surgery Department in University Campus Biomedico of Rome and a chairman of the Orthopedic and Trauma Residency Program of University Campus Biomedico of Rome.

Dr. Papalia received his MD and Ph. D from University Campus Biomedico of Rome in Italy.  Dr. Papalia was a visiting research fellow to Department of Orthopeadic and trauma Surgery of UPMC Medical Center, Pittsburgh. He was a winner of the European Federation of National Associations of Orthopedic Sport Traumatology (EFOST) Fellowship in 2012, the European Society of Sports Traumatology Knee Surgery & Arthoscopy (ESSKA)-Saciedad Latinoamericana De Arhtoscopia Rodilla Y Traumatologia Deportivo (SLARD) Travelling Fellowship in 2014 and the Italian Society of Arthroscopy (SLA) fellowship in 2014. Dr. Papalia is a member of learned societies, including Italian Society of Orthopedics and Traumatology, Italian Society of Arthroscopy, Italian Society of Knee Surgery, Arthroscopy Sport, Cartilage, Orthopedic Technology, European Society of Sports Tramatology Knee Surgery and Arthroscopy, International Society of Arthroscopy (ESSKA), Knee Surgery, and Orthopedic Sport Medicine (ISAKOS).
