Dr. Yue obtained his Medical Doctor degree from Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Medicine in 2010, and now is the vice director and associate professor of Department of bone and joint surgery, Shanghai Renji Hospital, Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Medicine. 

He finished his research fellowship in Bioengineering Laboratory of Orthopaedic Department in Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School from Oct/2008 to Feb/2010. During 2009-2010, he served as the vice chairman of Harvard Medical School Chinese Scholars and Scientist Association. Currently, he is the vice director of Sports Medicine Committee, Shanghai Branch of International Society of Orthopaedic Surgery and Traumatology (SICOT), and the member of Sports Medicine Committee, Chinese Association of Orthopaedic Surgeons.

His main research areas are the basic and clinical research of knee arthroplasty and sports medicine, including surgical techniques, knee kinematics, prosthesis design, biomaterials development, and cartilage regeneration. He has hosted 3 National Natural Science Foundation of China, applied or obtained 6 patents, and published more than 30 SCI papers.
