Jinyu Zhu, MD, PhD (Adult Reconstructive Surgery)

Dr. Zhu obtained his Ph. D degree from The Fourth Military Medical University in 2000, and now he is the director of department of adult reconstructive surgery in the Institute of Orthopedics, Xijing Hospital, the Air Force Medical University. He is also one of the member of Chinese Hip Society, the member of Arthroplasty Surgery Association of PLA Orthopaedic Committee, the member of Digital Orthopaedics Association of the Medical Engineering Society, Chinese Medical Association.

He is an orthopedic surgeon with expertise in total joint replacement for the hip and knee. In addition, he has interests in hip and knee arthritis, minimally invasive surgery for total hip and knee replacement, and computer-assisted navigation for total knee replacement.

In addition to his clinical practice, his main research is focused on the prevention and treatment of the periprothetic joint infection (PJI). Until now, he has hosted 2 military projects on innovative technology, published 10 SCI papers as first author or corresponding author and won Second Class Prizes of the State Scientific and Technological Progress Award(No.7).
